February Card Class Continued
Fresh Vintage
Stamp Set: Fresh Vintage (Sale-A-Bration)
Paper: Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Very Vanilla, Every Day Enchantment DSP (Sale-A-Bration)
Ink: Pool Party, Calypso Coral
Accessories: Lucky Limeade Stampin' Write Marker, Pool Party Stampin' Write Marker, Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Marker, 1/8" Organdy Ribbon Calypso Coral, 3" Circle Die, Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Postage Stamp Punch, Big Shot, Dimensionals
First I run the Calypso Coral card stock through the Big Shot using the Framed Tulips Impressions Folder. Then I attached it to the Lucky Limeade card stock. I stamped the small flowers in two corners using the Calypso Coral ink. I attached the DSP in the upper right hand corner. Next I stamped the image onto the pool Party strip using pool party ink. I tied the Ribbon around it and attached it to the top of the Calypso Coral. Next I cut out the 3" circle from Very Vanilla using the circle die and the Big Shot. Using the Stampin' Write Markers I colored the image and stamped it on the circle. I attached it using two Dimensionals. Using the pool Party ink I stamped the postage image and punched it out with the Postage Stamp Punch. I attached it with one Demensional.
Elementary Elegance

Paper: Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, Every Day Enchantment DSP (Sale-A-Bration)
Ink: Soft Suede
Accessories: Curly Label Punch, 1/8" Organdy Ribbon Calypso Coral, Sponge, Dimensionals
First I attached the DPS to the Pool Party card stock. Next I tied the small piece of ribbon to the larger piece and attached it to cover the seam. I them attached this to the Very Vanilla Card. Next I stamped the frame onto the Very Vanilla using the Soft Suede Ink. I used the sponge to add the some Soft Suede ink onto the edges of the Vary Vanilla card stock. Next I stamped Happy Birthday onto a scrap of Very Vanilla and punched it out with the Curly Label Punch. Then using a sponge I added the Soft Suede ink around the edges and attached to the inside of the frame using a dimensional. Next I attached the Very Vanilla to the Lucky Limeade and attached this layer to the card.
Owl Treat Holder
Paper: Red Rose, Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Basic Black, Pretty In Pink DSP, Glimmer Paper Red
Accessories: 1" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Large Oval Punch, 5-Petal Flower Punch, Small Heart Punch, Scallop Edge Border Punch Pillow Box Die, Big Shot, Sticky Strip
Using the Pillow Box Die and the Big Shot I cut out the base of the owl out of Red Rose card stock. I used Sticky Strip on the side tab to close the box. I also used a small piece on the bottom tab to close it. Next I used the Scallop Edge Border Punch on one edge of each piece of DSP. I attached the tree pieces together using regular adhesive. Next using the 5-Petal Flower Punch I punched out a flower from Pumpkin Pie. I cut off two petals to make to feet and attached it to the bottom of the DSP layer. Next I used Sticky Strip to attach this the DSP layer to the Pillow Box. Next I punched two ovals out of Regal Rose for the wings and attached these to the Pillow Box. Then I punched one small heart from the Red Glimmer Paper and one from the Pumpkin Pie using the Small Heart Punch. I attached the glimmer heart using a dimensional. I used the 1" Circle Punch to punch two circles out of Whisper White and the 1/2" Circle Punch to punch out two circles out of Basic Black. I attached these together and attached the Pumpkin Pie heart behind them for the nose. Finally I attached these to the Pillow Box.
These were Valentine Treats for my Card Class Customers. Below I have posted a few more that I made for a swap for The Chocolate Chip Stampers Meeting this month. They eyes are made from larger circle punches.
