Brayering with Dry Embossing

For this technique I used a brayer to apply the Blushing Bride ink to the flat side of the embossing folder. Next I carefully placed the Whisper White card stock onto the folder. Then I closed the folder and ran it through the Big Shot. The flowers turn out white and the background is Blushing Bride. Finally I used the Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker to color the center of the flowers. To clean the folder, simply run it under water and let dry.

May Card Class

My card class is the second Tuesday of every month. It is held at my house and begins at 7:00 p.m. Each month we do 3 beautiful cards for $10. These are the three cards we did last night.

2010 has has been a very busy year for me. One of my goals was to create a blog to be able to share some of my projects and ideas. I created my blog during the summer and posted a few things I created using My Digital Studio. Summer quickly went by and the school year began. Finding the time to post ideas became difficult. Just when I thought I would have the time something would come up. Last night I created a winter background and banner. Today I'm adding my first post. My goal for 2011 is to at least post the cards from my monthly card class. My card class is the second Tuesday of each month. For now enjoy a few cards.

As part of the training I'm doing I also had to create My Story. I used My Digital Studio again. I am really enjoying this.
