June Card Class



With Sympathy

Stamp Sets:  Loving Thoughts, Mixed Bunch
Paper:  Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Whisper White Twitterpatted DSP
Ink:  Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze,
Accessories:  Blossom Punch, 5/16" Neutral Brads, 1/2" Circle Punch, 3/8" Pleated Ribbon Riding Hood Red, Paper-Piercing Tool, Mat Pack

First I stamped With Sympathy using Riding Hood Red onto the Whisper White.  Then I attached it to the bottom of the Baja Breeze.  Next I attached the DSP to the top of the Baja Breeze amd attached the Pleated Ribbon to cover the seam.  I attached this layer to the Riding Hood Red Card.  Using the Rock and Roll Technique and Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red Ink, I stamped one of the flowers from Mixed Bunch.  I punched it out using the Blossom Punch.  I then cut off two of the petals to make the Butterfly shape.  I punched a circle out of Riding Hood Red using the 1/2" Circle Punch.  I attached this to the butterfly.  I used the Piercing tool to put a hold in the center in order to attach the brad.  I used Dimensionals to attach the butterfly to the card.



Happy Birthday Ice Cream

Stamp Set:  Pennant Parade, Create a Cupcake
Paper:  Whisper White, Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Early Espresso, Just Add Cake DSP
Ink:  Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Early Espresso
Accessories:  Corner Rounder, Cupcake Builder Punch, Pennant Builder Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Dimensionals

First I used the Corner Rounder on two opposite corners on the DSP, and Baja Breeze and attached these.  Then I did the same thing to the Whisper White and So Saffron.  Next I stamped the top of the cupcake using Baja Breeze Ink on Baja Breeze Card Stock.  I did the same thing using So Saffron Ink and Card Stock.  I punched these out using the Builder Cupcake Punch.  I punched a third one from DSP.  I used one of the pennants using Early Espresso Ink on Early Espresso Card Stock to make the cone.  I used the Pennant Builder punch to punch it out.  I also used the Cupcake Builder punch to punch out the cherry from DSP.  I assembled the ice cream cone and attached it to the Whisper White using two Dimensionals.  I stamped Whish Big using Baja Breeze Ink on a scrap of Whisper White and punched it out with the Circle Punch.  I attached it with Dimensionals.  I finally used the Cupcake Builder Punch to punch three small circles from So Saffron ans attached them to the card.


Happy Father's Day

Paper:  Midnight Muse, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, Comfort Cafe DSP
Ink:  Soft Suede, Midnight Muse
Accessories:  Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Sizzlits Lots of Tags Label 2 (Retired),
Extra Large Oval Punch, Button (Retired), Glue Dots

I first stamped the tree onto the Very Vanilla using the Soft Suede Ink.  I attached this to the top of the card.  Then I attached the DSP to the bottom of the card.  I ran the strip of Cajun Craze through the Big Shot using the Stripes Folder.  I attached this over the seam and I attached the button using a Glue Dot.  I stamped the words using Midnight Muse on a piece of Very Vanilla and punched it out using the Extra Large Oval Punch.  I used the big shot and the Tags Label 2 to cut out the shape that goes behind the oval.  I attached these two together and attached this layer to the card.

Cute Purses

Stamp Sets:  Favorite Thoughts (Retired), Create a Cupcake
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride, Early Espresso 2012-2012 In Color DSP
Ink:  Early Espresso
Accessories:  1/8" Taffeta Ribbon Early Espresso, Basic Rhinestones, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Cupcake Builder Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Perfect Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Dimensionals

 First I stamped the bottom of the Early Espresso purse using the bottom of the cupcake stamp.  I used Early Espresso ink on Early Espresso card stock.  Next I punched it out using the Cupcake Builder Punch.  Next I punch the bottom of the two other purses from Blushing Bride DSP also using the Cupcake Builder Punch.  I punch one Early Espresso 3/4" circle using the circle punch and cut it in half.  I attached each one to the top of each Blushing Bride purse.  Then I punch another 3/4" circle from the Blushing Bride DSP and cut it in half.  I attached it to the Early Espresso Purse.  To make the handles of each purse you first use the 1/2" circle punch to punch out a circle and discard the circle.  Using the same piece of card stock you use the 3/4" Circle punch to punch around the hole that was just made with the 1/2" Circle Punch.  You end up with a 3/4" circle with a 1/2" hole in the middle.  Attach each handle to each purse.  Add a Rhinestone to the edge of each half circle on the purse.  Next I ran a piece of Very Vanilla through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dot Impressions folder.  Attach this to the Early Espresso card stock.  Tie the short piece of Taffeta Ribbon to the long piece and attache to this layer.  Also add the three purses to this layer using dimensionals.  Next use the Scallop Trim Border Punch on the edge of Blushing Bride Card Stock and attach to the previous layer.  Stamp the phrase using Early Espresso at the bottom of the card and attach the purse layer to the card.





Wedding Day

Stamp Set:  Occasional Quotes (Retired)
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride
Ink:  Basic Gray
Accessories:  Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Corner Rounder, Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Folder, Big Shot, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

First I ran a piece of Very Vanilla through the Big Shot using the Elegant Bouquet Impressions Folder.  I stamped the words using Basic Gray Ink.  The I punched five flowers using the Four Petal Flower Punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.  I added a pearl to each flower and attached them to a textured flower on the Very Vanilla Card Stock using a Glue Dot.  Then I used the Corner Rounder on two corners on the left side of the Very Vanilla textured cards stock.  Next i placed four Dimensionals behind this layer and attached it to the card.


  


Happy Graduation

Stamp Sets:  Word Play, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper:  Whisper White, Basic Black, Brights Collection DSP
Ink:  Basic Black, Real Red
Accessories:  5/8" Real Red Satin Ribbon, Real Red Stampin' Write Marker, Corner Rounder, Decorative Label Punch, 1 1/4 Square Punch Dimensionals,

I used the Square Punch to create the edge on the end of the Real Red DSP.  I lined up each strip of DSP in the corner of the Square Punch and punch a part of.  The one in the middle in the longest, while the other two are about the same length.  I attached these to the Basic Black Card Stock.  Next using Basic Black Ink I stamped the words onto the piece of Whisper White Card Stock.  Then I cleaned off the stamp and used the Real Red Marker to color only the arrow on the stamp.  I stamped this on a scrap piece of Whisper White and cut it out.  I attached it on top of the Basic Black arrow using a Dimensional.  I used the Corner Rounder to round the two corners on the left side.  Then I tied the ribbon around this.  Using Real Red Ink I stamped Happy Graduation on a scrap of Whisper White and punched it out using the Decorative Label Punch.  I attached this underneath the Whisper White piece.  I used Dimensionals to attach this layer to the Basic Black Card Stock.  Finally I attach all this to the card.



Bonus Card

Stamp Set:  Sincere Salutations
Paper:  Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Beyond the Garden DSP
Ink:  Pacific Point
Accessories:  Round Tab Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Extra Large Oval Punch, Dimensionals

First attach the strip of DSP onto the card.  From a piece of Wild Wasabi, punch the ribbon using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and attach on the edge of the DSP.  Stamp Thinking of You using Pacific Point ink onto a scrap of Whisper White and punch out using the Extra Large Oval Punch.  Next using the Round Tab Punch, punch out the shape from Wild Wasabi.  Attach these two pieces together.  Using Dimentionals attach this to the card.
